Workplace Violence

At Acadiana Rehabilitation, we are committed to providing compassionate patient-centered care to patients and their families. While we aim to protect our patients and care for their overall well-being, we also strive to maintain a safe working environment for every healthcare worker employed by Acadiana.

Violence or abuse directed towards any healthcare staff member will not be tolerated and may result in a FELONY conviction in accordance with R.S. 14:38 or other applicable criminal laws. It is the responsibility of our healthcare workers to be attentive and respectful to our patients in their times of need, and we ask patients and their loved ones to extend the same courtesy to our healthcare workers.
